Southeast Asia's Largest Mall?

We have heard that 1 Utama was the largest mall in Malaysia. We have also heard that the Mid Valley Mega Mall is the largest mall in Asia. This weekend we discovered that Berjaya Times Square has them all beat... for now.

Berjaya Times Square is absolutely huge! There is an amusement park inside with a corkscrew roller coaster and a fun childrens area. Here is Eleanor and me on the Buggy Garden Safari.

We took the train to Berjaya Times Square which required a transfer to the KL Monorail. On the way to the Monorail station we snapped a picture of the Petronas Towers.



You can see from the photo the tremendous amount of "haze" hanging over KL. The poor air quaility is the result of hundreds of forest fires raging across Peninsular Malaysia.

Fortunately, storms the last several days have since cleared the "haze".
