Hari Raya at the Suria KLCC Mall
And we thought the mall would be closed in celebration of Hari Raya (the end of Ramadan.) Ha! KLCC mall was more crowded than we've ever seen it. Our prepaid cell phone (called a hand phone here) ran out of minutes this morning as we were calling home, so we ventured out in search of a recharge card. Ben found a pair of sandals and we stopped at the Cold Storage grocery store again. Since we don't have a car to haul home big bags of groceries, we make a habit of picking up items when ever were out. It's really handy here because there seems to be a grocery store in every mall.
The KLCC mall is the mall at the base of the Petronas Towers (formerly the world's tallest building). We just now learned on CNN that there is a taller tower in Taipei. The KLCC mall is just 4 train stops away, so we visit anytime we need something.
Earlier in the day we all went for a swim. Eleanor took a nice long nap after eating her noodles.
